Half day Tour Lefkara – Kato Drys Village

A professional English-speaking guide will accompany you for your half day tour to Lefkara Village and Kato Drys.  Your first stop will be the village of Lefkara where you will take a stroll around the picturesque village which is famous for its silversmith, lace making products and its traditional stone architecture. According to the tradition, Leonardo Da Vinci visited the village and bought an altar cloth which he donated to the Cathedral of Milan.   Following the Lefkara tour, we will head towards Kato Drys Village to visit the Bee & Embroidery Museum including a stop for traditional coffee & sweets.

Meet at the hotel reception at 09:00 where you will begin your tour of Famagusta with a professional English-Speaking guide. Here you will have the opportunity to have an interactive experience where you will get acquainted with the history behind Cypriot wheat production grind wheat using hand-mills, just like in Neolithic Cyprus, feel the fresh flour coming from the same stone-mill of Savvas and Katerina Hadjigiorki in the 1940s. A short visit to a local bakery to taste traditional flavours of savouries. We then proceed with a visit to Famagusta viewpoint and continue onto Ayia Napa where we will visit the Medieval Monastery and take a stroll around the popular holiday resort and have the opportunity to dive in MUSAN (optional) (Museum of Underwater Sculpture).Lunch at a local fish tavern. Return to the hotel.

Full day Tour – Paphos

Meet at the hotel reception at 09:00 where you will begin your full day tour of Paphos with an English-speaking guide. Our first visit will be Aphrodite’s Rock where according to the legend, the ancient Greek Goddess of Love and Beauty, Aphrodite was born from the sea foam. The area is an interesting geological formation of a huge rock along a coastline. It is an interesting geological formation of a huge rock along a coastline. Arriving in the city of Paphos, we will have a first visit to the Tombs of the Kings. The site is included in the UNESCO since 1980. The monumental underground tombs are carved out of solid rock and date back to the Hellenistic and Roman periods. Rather than kings. We then proceed to very centre of the city of Kato Paphos, where we will have a visit at the Paphos Mosaics. They are considered among the finest in the eastern Mediterranean and form part of the Archaeological Park of Kato Paphos, which has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list since 1980. Their intricate floor mosaics depict various scenes from Greek Mythology. Free time will be offered to enjoy the charming harbor of Paphos with its medieval castle.  Our last stop is a stroll around the historical part of Paphos (Agora) where our tour ends.
